I finally crashed somewhere on the 35th to 37th floor--there's always next time, though.
How I believe Ash has aged
According to this, Ash would be 15 by the time his story ended, assuming each episode was one day. Here's how I imagine that to work in my remixed animeverse: --celebrated a birthday in Johto (since the Orange Islands took place offscreen in the remixed animeverse) --celebrated another birthday in Shinou --celebrated another birthday in Kalos --celebrated another birthday in Galar+Sword Shield DLC --Will turn 15 this year. during SV and its DLC (since Ash is still adventuring in my fan universes, including the remixed animeverse)
Holiday Schedule
Pokemon Storm Gray will still release today, plus a Pokemon Cafe Mix vignette celebrating the Holiday Lucario event and Galarian starter reruns From there, all regular writing (except for daily challenges and some random writings) will go on hiatus until January 4--have a safe and very Merry Christmas, and (hopefully) a happy 2021
Storm Gray Episode 4--The Afterpost
This week, the group befriends an Oshawott, then attempts to mediate between a Rufflet and some Sandiles. The big change (besides Iris being gone and Team Rocket being cut) is that the Sunglasses Sandile is replaced with a Rufflet (who joins Ash's team along with the Oshawott.) I felt Rufflet would be a better bird for Ash to use than the Pidove family (in addition to my using Rufflet in Black/White 2) The Oshawott is not from Juniper's lab in this version, but instead is a wild Oshawott that followed Ash and Tintri. My initial idea to replace Team Rocket was to use some hoodlums, but the more I thought about how to explain how Ash would get a Rufflet, I got the idea of having the Sandiles be friendly, but the Rufflet sees them as trouble. Ash using his Swanna Song to save Tintri, his new Oshawott Kaitou, and the Sandiles is all new for the story--I felt this would be the kind of dire emergency the Swanna Song was meant for. Next time, the gang performs in their first Pokemon
Storm Grey episode 3--The Afterpost
This week, Whitlea guides Ash through a practice Stage Battle! This episode continues from episode 2, and is all new for the story. The Meloettas that referee the Stage Battles all get their names from musical terminology and items--Capella comes from a capella In my imagined Pokeworld, Ash, Misty, and Brock are very versatile performers, being triple threat actors, multi-intrumentalists, and dancers. One of their most iconic (and most popular) plays is an adaptation of "The Three Musketeers", where they play the title roles. Ash's costume is based on a combination of the Final Fantasy red mage, and a male version of this. While most of the time, the Stage Battle songs are going to be "English" versions of Japanese Pokemon songs, this one is original to reflect the fact that this Stage Battle is just practice. Next time, the Oshawott from before officially joins Ash's team, and the Trio deal with a wild Sandile and some delinquents at a resort!
