1. ...in a futuristic Pokeworld, the classic Trio, May and Serena keep the peace from a huge rogue's gallery of both old and new foes in Mega-Man-like suits powered by magical gems
2. In addition to being able to run, each member has their own private ship to fly across the city of Malaville (Pallet Town in this fantastic future)
3. Each suit is granted an elemental (or in Misty's case, two), in addition to standard powers of super speed, super jumping, short flights, and enhanced biological endurance and defense (making them invulnerable to most common and some uncommon weapons)
4. Although Ash's suit is a fire elemental, he also has lightning powers thanks to his bond with Pikachu.
5. Each suit also has unique power special to the wearer:
--Ash has resistance to temperature extremes and hazardous conditions
--Misty has magical breathing (meaning she does not have to switch the suit to sea mode like the others do)
--Brock has enhanced tracking, which can detect secret passages, hidden compartments, and secret rooms
--May has enhanced defense, making her invulnerable to even the biggest explosions (and can extend this protection to the others
--Serena can climb up walls and resist force fields

This set of ideas inspired by Disney's Big Hero 6 with a little Mega Man and Symphogear--consider it looking at the Pokemon meets super sentai from another angle (an important theme in the movie)
