The Rainbow Starcadia

Rainbow Starcadia is Pallet Town's (and one of Kanto's) biggest arcades (so named because of all the neon lights among all the arcade cabinets and consoles). Ash, Misty, and Brock like to come visit here.

For 500 credits a person, you can play all you want (all the arcade cabinets are set to free play mode) Some actually bring their own cartridges and controls to play the consoles.

In addition to the hundreds of video games available, there is also an air hockey table, a foosball table, several dartboards, video game themed boardgames, and a MMO lab filled with the most powerful gaming computers. A number of TVs play 80's and 90's cartoons and music videos as well as leaderboards from each arcade cabinet's high scores, and there is a snack bar to buy snacks, drinks or small meals.

The one that sets the top score on any arcade cabinet for the day gets a small prize (either that day or on their next visit.

The Trio's play styles are also unique:

Ash is highly competitive and won't rest until he has found every secret or gotten the top score.

Misty is very methodical, watching what the game or an opponent does before attacking

Brock is very strategic--focusing on staying alive or in the game.

Serena is adventurous in her playstyle, and usually the first one to find a secret or hidden item or room

Flynn--The owner of the Starcadia--is very active on the Starcadia's social media

Nikki--the tech girl--if anything breaks down, she can likely fix it
