How the Pokethlon Works

Literature Text
The Pokethlon is a contest of Pokemon skill, strength and endurance open to trainers from around the world.
Unlike the games, there are also water and aerial courses, as well as the land based courses seen in the games. Not surprisingly, Misty competes on the aquatic track, taking her Marill (Ami), her Horsea--now Seadra (Spritz) and Starmie (Pearl)
A Pokethlon competition consists of five events, each one measuring a different skill: Speed, Power, Skill, Stamina, and Agility. What these events are differ from arena to arena, and even between individual contests.
The winners of the Pokethlon receive medals akin to the Olympics, and those that earn eight medallions (color doesn't matter) earn the right to compete in the Grand Pokethlon during the Pokemon League.
